You Don’t Have To Journey Alone
Deep Listening. Soulful Growth.
Hi, I’m Jen.
My life’s work is to help people listen deeply to their lives. Through reflective listening and compassionate guidance, I accompany others as they come to know themselves more fully. As a trained Spiritual Director, I walk alongside people as they vulnerably explore who they are created to be and their relationship with what is greater than themselves. Together, we attune to the quiet wisdom within, what some might call the Divine, the Creator, God, Spirit or a Higher Power—although the language that speaks to each of my directees’ souls is what is used in each sacred journey.
Sometimes, spiritual language can make people hesitant, worried that they’ll be judged or misunderstood. Yet to be human is to navigate the complex messiness of life—to wrestle with the past or present is holy work. To expose our ‘secrets’ to the light and to finally release the shame we thought we needed to keep hidden brings freedom. We all need someone who will truly listen, someone who can help us gently unravel the false stories we’ve come to believe about ourselves. I help provide the non-judgmental, safe space for this to occur.
Some of us were shaped by faith or family traditions that taught us to live within harsh rules or moral codes. These can sometimes limit our ability to live into our deepest truth. Whether moving through a life transition, longing for something more, feeling a spiritual emptiness, seeking spiritual connection after traditional therapy, or deconstructing faith or family of origin complexities, spiritual direction offers a safe, compassionate space to explore and rediscover one’s authentic self .
What Others Have Found Along the Way

"Before I started meeting with Jen I would say I was going through a dark night of the soul...I was lonely and suffering. In this darkness I stumbled into contemplative prayer without realizing what I was doing. I didn't really have anyone I could talk to about this, but serendipitously, Jen came into my life. What a relief to be able to share these profound experiences with someone. She would ask me these wonderful questions. I love questions; they can take you deeper into contemplation. Even though we are from different faiths....she has recently challenged me to find a way to share the messages that God graces with me in ways people can actually hear them and benefit from them. Now, despite the troubled times we live in, I feel a tremendous amount of hope and excitement for the future. I know I am at this place of light in part because of Jen's questions and because she listened and helped me to feel seen. Thank you Jen."

"It has been said that spiritual direction is more about questions than answers. My heterodox faith is riddled, often painfully, with doubt, confusion, and skepticism. So often I’ve felt like a spiritual pinball, ricocheting from one doubt to another. Jen’s presence in my life has often felt like a Godsend; with her calm, her depth, and her penetrating intuition, she has had faith in my faith when I have struggled to do so. Both her questions and her reassurances have stretched me and grounded me. And she has a remarkable gift of challenging me…in a way that feels safe and caring. I am deeply grateful to have her beside me as I walk this journey."

“One of the first things I discovered about Jen is her genuine desire to deepen her spiritual experience. Emerging from this personal commitment comes her passion for walking alongside others on their spiritual journey. Jen’s natural gifts of warm compassion, attentive listening and discerning reflection are valuable assets for a Spiritual Director. Welcoming diversity is a prelude to the way she honors each person’s unique spiritual path. Familiarity with suffering and pain opens Jen to being vulnerable and real with others. I find it a comfort and pleasure to be in her genial presence.”
